Within the framework of the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) a detailed Action Plan has been developed which includes a number of objectives in terms of non-proliferation of WMD for most partners, in particular in the context of implementing UNSCR 1540. With the inclusion of Egypt in the EU Joint Action in support of the implementation of UNSCR 1540, this aspect has been well reflected.
